Sandy Shaw is the MPP for Hamilton West—Ancaster—Dundas and serves as Ontario’s Shadow Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Gaming and Vice Chair of the Legislative Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs.
Sandy is proud to have worked with progressive Hamilton organizations such as Social Planning Council and the United Way, leading projects such as a micro-loan program and the city’s first Women and Poverty Report.
Sandy was the first woman elected Board Chair of First Ontario Credit Union and received the Women of Distinction Award for her community leadership.
At Queen’s Park - Sandy stands up for policies that put people first, protecting public health care, expanding affordable housing, advancing pediatric palliative care, environmental and climate protections, clean water, climate resilience, and local natural heritage.
