
Join me for a screening of True North, a documentary that tells the untold story of Montréal’s place in Black history, through rare archival footage and the memories of those who lived it. From the Congress of Black Writers to the Sir George Williams Affair, True North reveals how student-led movements in Montréal reverberated across the globe, reminding us that grassroots action has always shaped the fight for justice.
Following the screening, we will have an open discussion about the film, lead by special guests Evelyn Myrie and Stephen Cordova.
